London College of Printing, London 27th Sept 2007 –Dec 2007. Photoshop Skills Tutor
I will be giving Photoshop skills classes to HND students as part of their course.

Del Alwis Studio.  London Nov 2005 – present. Freelance Print designer
I have put together three print collections for Del Alwis Studio. This involves researching trend forecasts as well as printing the fabrics, making them into garment shapes and sourcing relevant trims.

• Castleblair, London Nov 2005. Freelance Print designer
I was asked by Castleblair, a Marks and Spencer supplier, to produce some placement prints for t-shirts to co-ordinate with  printed skirts. These will be available in Marks and Spencer’s Summer 06 collection.

• Fulton Umbrellas.  London, 2nd April 2004-15th March 2006 Print designer
My primary role at Fulton was to create print designs for Fulton’s own and customer’s umbrellas using Prima Vision, Photoshop and hand painting. I was responsible for, amongst others, the BHS and Woolworths ranges.
Other duties:
· Liaison with customers and Fulton directors on new trends, design briefs and new collections
• Cleaning up and putting into repeat customers own designs, in particular for Cath Kidston, Orla Kiely and Monsoon.
• Putting work into production, approving redraws lab dyes and bulk fabric, following progress of production.
• Due to  long production times trend prediction and analysis played a vital role in all design work.
• Presentations of trends, collections and mood-boards
• General and computer training for the  new designer  taking over my position.

Expo Fabrics, London, 29th Aug- 2003 - 23  rd March 2004 – Print Designer and CAD Operator.
As the sole creative in the London office of this Turkish Mill I was responsible for their printed fabrics:
• General organisation of showroom and printed samples, creating moodboards for current/future trends.
• Liasing with customers on their needs and future trends, assisting them to find suitable prints.
• CAD work, re-colouring prints for customers
• New design work following customer briefs.
• Organisation, merchandising and assisting at stands at the Turkish Textile exhibition and Texworld.
• Interviewing & training on Most Colouring computer programme.

Marks & Spencer, The Zip Project, London, 9th June-11th July ’2003 – Print Designer
During my 5-week fixed term contract as assistant designer in the children’s nightwear department I was responsible for:
• Researching for new trends
• Assisting in design work already in progress.
• Taking designs forward to production.

FrostFrench, London, 28th Oct-25th Nov 2002 - Part-time Print Designer
• I worked in collaboration with Jemima French to create the prints for their Autumn/Winter 2003/4 collection.
15th July-15th Sept – Work experience
During my summer work experience I assisted with:
• General production and distribution duties.
• Compiled a Look Book for the summer fashion collection.

Kube Clothing, London, April–Dec 2002 – Freelance Designer
Kube Clothing bought five designs out of my portfolio. I continued to work for them on a freelance basis.

• KT&Paul, London, 24th July-23rd Aug 2002 Part-time Print Room Assistant
Over the summer I worked part time as a print room assistant helping with screen preparation, reclamation and printing.
